Save the tiger poster!

Hi guys, this is my poster assignment, i think i don't have to explain too much about this poster because the idea is showed clearly on the poster, so let's enjoy it.

Now turn to the process from creating the idea to finishing the artwork:

Firstly, i decided my concept will focus on the impressive image which can attract the attention of viewers as well as send a strong message for them so i thought it isn't necessary to put a lot of informations on the poster, just the image and following the mantra: "Less is more".

Secondly, i began to reasearch the tiger images, during the research many ideas appeared in my head such as stop using tiger bone make up medicine, tiger skins to decor, blah blah blah...., but nothing is clearly. Another idea is: lossing habitat and wildlife can cause the negative effect to the tiger, i think this idea is not bad and began to make a draff - the original poster look like this:

However, i didn't satisfy with this concept, something is too ordinary, it is not impressive. Suddenly, a question appeared in my head "Why do people alway confine tiger on the cage? Why don't we turn to the opposite way : put the wildlife into the cage and take the tiger outside!!!" Great idea!! Finally, i did a lot of works on Photoshop to have a complete artwork!

Hope everyone like it and let me know your opinion, thanks!!!

My Graphic Novel

Hey guys, this weekend I had time to see the movie " Wanted" - one of these blockbuster movies of the year, and what can i say about this movie: AWESOMEEE!!!!! The visual effect of this movie is so impressive, stunning and some stuffs is very new such as the curve line of the bullet. "Wanted" makes me remember to the phenomenon of "the Matrix" (1999) which is the visual effect started a new trend to the next following movies. I guess you guys have already seen "Wanted", right? I really really like the scene that the guy jump out of the window of the skyscraper.

Incidentally, I wanna show you my graphic novel that I drew at the time I studied in highschool. The title of my graphic novel is "Storm center", it only has 9 pages and obviously not finish because I so busy to draw continue but i will try to complete it in the near future (hope so!!!!). The scene on the 2nd page I inspire from the scene Trinity jump out of the window with two guns on the hands and shoot continously to the enemy on "Matrix reloaded" (2003), and now with "Wanted" I can't sit still. So, Are you ready ????

Thank you for all viewing, comment and rating for my work.

Looking forward to all your opinions!!
Cheer!!!!

Master of Photoshop!

Hey guys, you must know this guy if you really like photoshop and enjoying what photoshop can do!!!

Bert Monroy was born in NewYork city where he spent 20 years as an art director and creative director of many major advertising companies as well as his own company Incredible Interactivity. When discovered the ability of the Macintosh 128 and Photoshop software in 1984, he started a new journey in his carreer.

Every artworks and graphic designs of Monroy never use any photographs but any details of them exactly like a photograph. He sketches his artworks by Illustrator tool and then uses Photoshop to creative light, shadow and any realistic elements.

"I consider myself a Hyper-realist artist. I love to paint. I use the word paint for lack of a better word. My medium is actually light. I have a passion for making things happen on the screen. Finding a new way of doing something and finding a new room in my imagination is what I love about the work." Monroy said.

In Photoshop World conference in Miami (USA), Monroy made the audience extremely suprised when introduced his digital art work: Damen train station in Chicago. He spent 11 months with 2.00 hours hard working to finished this panorama picture by computer. With 15.000 layers, Monroy represented Damen train station exactly with each brick on the sidewalk, each spot on the wall and so on.

"As a photo-realist painter, I have often been asked why I don’t just take a photograph. Good question, when you consider my paintings look like photographs. Well, for one thing, I’m not a photographer. To me, it is not the destination that is important—it is the journey. The incredible challenge of recreating reality is my motivation. Monroy said.

Let's enjoy his art works!!!!

The inspiration from 300, The Hulk and Bi-Rain:

This one is one of the best photos that i've ever took. I installed the composition of this photo in my room, set the automatic function to the camera and do a little bit on photoshop:

This poster is the combination of many pictures. I like the visual effect of the movie Sin city (2005) and the Spirit (2009) of Frank Miller so I use photoshop to make it. A little bit funny from the title "Mr Bi's holiday" (Bi is nickname of my friend), that is the inspiration from the movie "Mr Bean's holiday" (2007):
